Posted 31 July, 2022 Hi, I've a similar problem. Mk3 Octavia 2018 Amundson infotainment. CarPay used to work fine, USB connected. Since I think 15, Siri only partly works (I dont use maps through the phone).

Plug the phone into USB cable start the car and it rarely connects successfully, manual start connection or wait until the infotainment system has fully booted and auto connect works more often. My guess would be that during the handshake between infotainment and iPhone, the iPhone is not receiving the required

If the MySkoda app isn't on that page just drag/scroll to the next one. Alternatively, you can change the display layout of your apps by using the settings on your iphone. Settings - General - Carplay - Skoda - Customise - Then drag the MySkoda icon and put it in place of the grey Skoda icon.
If Apple CarPlay is not working after the iOS 17 update, reset Apple Carplay and check your car for an available firmware update. Make sure CarPlay settings are correct (CarPlay needs to be on in Settings). How do you reset CarPlay? Open the Settings app, tap General, tap CarPlay, tap your car, then tap Forget This Car.
