Alburton Apr 10, 2021 @ 6:37pm. Governors with a culture different than the settlement's will receive a Loyalty penalty. So a Battania governor wouldn't be the best choice for an Aserai settlement. Settlements that are currently starving (consuming more food than they generate) will also receive a penalty to Loyalty.

Location of all resources in Calradia. The castles are assigned to the nearest town. The castle's village traders won't always go to their head towns to trade. The arrangement of towns, castles and villages are mostly by shortest distance. Sometimes its by the more logical path if you want to travel in an efficient manner between towns.

Currently the system isn't really very clear. The only way to get fiefdoms is by the voting system - but it is not actually clear what determines the valid candidates in the election. It's depending on how many fiefdoms you and your vassals own. If there are vassals without any titles, they probably have a priority.

I want to help the realms that are having a hard time to try keep all the realms in the game kind of thing. How to do that and have a castle, and also do the quest, is not easy to know what happens.

Maybe someone asked this before, but im just curious about how the hell can i obtain a faction settlement while being vassal of that faction? Ive tried increase relationship with the clan ruler and farming tons of influence to begin a votation, but that mf (derhert? Herbert? idk, the coward moustache guy from vlandia) still negates me the settlement.
The "alley" I took over. That gang boss didnt care. Her relation stayed same. All was as normal, except once every few months. I'd get an alert. "run home, waste time, Kill 10 scrubs". So, I've been playing for quite a while now on this character and only just realised how big a deal your character culture is. I am getting -3 loyalty because I chose the only decent culture bonus left (Battania) while wanting to be a Sturgian lord. Got a settlement and the loyalty is horrendous. is there any way to change my culture? I really don't want to get rid of the character just
Download one of the mods that changes settlement culture after you own the settlement for a while and enjoy. The -3 loyalty penalty makes sense for a year or maybe even a few years after conquering a place, but making it an indefinite penalty doesn't make sense and just isn't tenable.
